Homework #13

The thirteenth homework had...

The assignment's 39 points were (unevenly) divided among the 13 sections as follows:

   A    B    C    D    E    F
handout... 33    2    3    3    3    3    3    ...installment 1
handout... 34    3    3    2    2              ...installment 2
handout... 35    2    6    4                   ...installment 3

You should be able to find the corresponding thirteen scores on the front page of your homework, arranged in a three-row table (13-cell table) quite similar to the above.

A few comments on specific exercises...

   33D.

"WR" is shorthand for "wrong reason."

Any argument that depends upon the labeling of the vertices (i.e., the letters 'a', 'b', etc. assigned to the vertices) cannot work here.

   35A.

"WR" is shorthand for "wrong reason."

Our solutions to the thirteenth homework have been posted.

For those who are curious, the median score was 35, and the mean score was 33.5 (sigma ~ 4).
