Hello everyone,

There are still about 6 people who have to take Prelim II. We'll update this page after they have taken it.

The mean was 70. The median was 70. The standard deviation was 15.

To the right we show the histogram, along with a rough estimate of the letter grade.

The grades were not as good as we expected --the mean is 10 points lower than we like! The test gives us feedback on what we haven't taught well and what you haven't learned well, and we will be adjusting the course in order to for you to learn the that material better.

For those of you who did poorly, it is not the end of the world. We will be setting up some special weekly sessions with small groups of you in order to help you learn the material.
