Version 0.95 of the Cornell
PREDATOR system is distributed only in source code form.
The identical codebase compiles and runs on both Sparc/Solaris2.5 and
WindowsNT4.0.
Included in this V0.95 distribution are:
- Sources for the system codebase
- C++ sources for server
- C++ sources for client
- Java sources for client
- SHORE storage manager version 1.1 (only binaries and header
files used by Predator). The complete and accurate version 1.1
is available at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/shore.
- Portions of the JClass Table Libraries (from the KL Group) used for a graphical client.
- IJG's JPEG Library for image manipulation.
Requirements
The WindowsNT4.0 version has the following system and software
requirements:
- At least 32MB of system memory.
- At least 300MB of disk space to hold object files and runtime "disks".
- Microsoft Developer Studio5.0 with VC++ and VJ++
The Sparc/Solaris version has the following system and software
requirements:
- Version 2.5.1 of Solaris. The code should work with Solaris 2.6
but has not been tested on this platform.
- At least 32MB of system memory.
- At least 200MB of disk space to hold object files and runtime "disks".
- g++2.7.2 (with g++2.7.1 libraries).
- Sun's JDK1.1.4 or higher
