Datasets

InetDim-matrix.gz: round-trip time matrix containing all pairs measurements between 2385 hosts annotated with IP addresses. This matrix was generated from the raw King measurements made by the Meridian Project. Notice, however, that this matrix differs, in terms of host inclusion, from the previously published Meridian matrix. For convenince, we also provide the following dasets derived from the above:
- InetDim-geo-coordinates.gz: great circle coordinates of the nodes in the InetDim matrix obtained from hostip.info.
- InetDim-geo-matrix.gz: matrix of geographic distances between nodes, instead of delay distances, computed using the coordinates in the above file.
- IP to AS mapping: Mapping of IPs to AS numbers they belong to, obtained by querying the RouteViews database.
- AS to Tier-1 mapping: Mapping of AS numbers to Tier-1 AS providers whose downstream customer network they belong to, obtained by searching the CAIDA AS relationship data.
- Decomposed network into subnetworks, each consisting of a Tier-1 AS together with its downstream customer network.
