Academic Integrity
|
This course Throughout the course, you are encouraged to work with others, to share ideas and collaborate in problem sharing. However, the assignments in this course are individual assignments. You should do them by yourself and not share your programs with your colleagues. For Cornell's policy on academic integrity, see: The Code of Academic Integrity. Professional computing More generally, computing is a collaborative activity. Professional practice expects people to work together and to share their expertise.
To make use of the expertise of others and to build on previous work, with proper attribution, is good professional practice. To use the efforts of others without attribution is professionally unethical and academically is plagiarism. |
