Discussion Sections (Labs)Discussion sections (Labs) are mandatory. If you miss more than two of them without a good excuse (preferably discussed with your section instructor ahead of time), your course grade may be reduced one level (e.g. B to B- or A- to B+). For sections held in the ACCEL LAB in Carpenter Hall: The entrance to the ACCEL Lab is through the former Engineering Library. You should enter on the ground floor, then walk straight until you can go no further. The Blue room is in front of you; the Red and Orange rooms are up the stairs on your left (past the Green room, where consulting hours are.) Labs listed as the "Red" room on Student Center are actually split among the "Red" and "Orange" rooms, which are adjacent to each other. If you have your own laptop, you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring that to lab, as it can free up some space in the room.
ExamsThis course will have two prelims and a final. The times and places of these exams, as well as the times for the review sessions, are given on this page. |
