Hey, there! I’m a fourth-year PhD student interested in Operating Systems, Parallel and Distributed Systems, and High Performance Computing.

I am co-advised by Dr. Robbert van Renesse1 and Dr. Lorenzo Alvisi2. Right now I am exploring the limits of two-sided RDMA systems, ideating new paradigms to help developers build one-sided RDMA applications, and designing novel consensus protocols that can take advantage of modern networking hardware’s bandwidths and latency.

I started my PhD at the department of Computer Science at Cornell University in Fall 2020 Spring 2021 (thanks, COVID19!).

From 2018 to 2020, I was a Research Fellow in the Systems Group3 at Microsoft Research where I worked on Project Gandiva4.

In 2018, I completed my undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi majoring in Computer Science, where I graduated top of my class5.

I have worked with languages like Scala, C, C++, Haskell, Python, C#, Java, and technologies like RDMA, CUDA, Kubernetes, Docker, Android, LaTeX, MATLAB, *nix.

In my free time I read Sci-Fi and Fantasy - I particularly love the Cosmere6, and listen to Trance and House music.
