This is a dataset with a "planted vertex cover" core-periphery structure. Each edge in the network contains at least one node in the core. In this dataset, the core corresponds to the students and faculty at the MIT Media Laboratory or MIT Sloan business school participating in the reality mining study. Edges are SMS text messages.
