With the pond cavity and the retaining walls progressing well, it eventually became time to build the fence. We found "knotty red cedar" at an affordable price at the lumber and got enough boards for our fence. We decided to go with an irregular board top shape and cut all boards off at a "random" angle.
To get out to
the street I build a solid gate. It's 3 feet wide, which actually
turns out to be a little bit narrow--at least the wheelbarrow
barely goes through. I guess I would add a few more inches if I
were to do it again...
