Well, I spell it "Stodghill", but not everyone else does...

One of the most common ways of misspelling my name is "Stodgill". I guess this is because the "h" is silent.

Another common way of misspelling my name is "Stodghil" (with one "l"), which happens to be my email address.

Another common way of misspelling my name is "Robinson", but that's another story...

2. How do you pronounce your last name?

"Stodge-hill" ("stodge" rhymes with "dodge").

3. Why did you write this FAQ?

I was amazed and amused at the number of different ways that my name was being mangled in my professional life. I wrote this FAQ so that I could provide people with a "quick reference" on the subject.
