I obtained my PhD degree in June 2000 at the Department of Computer Science of the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, under the supervision of prof. Henri Bal and prof. Andrew Tanenbaum.
My thesis investigates the design and implementation of low-level communication support for parallel-programming systems and studies the impact of low-level design decisions on parallel-programming systems and parallel applications.
