The Bridging the Rift Center Groundbreaking for the Bridging the Rift Center occurred on March 9, 2004. The center is being built on the border of Jordan and Israel on land donated by both countries. When complete, the Center will house the Library of Life, the world's first database of all species. The Center will also be used to train graduate students from both sides of the border; the Center will offer doctoral degrees from both of BTR's academic partners, Cornell and Stanford. |
