About Bridging the Rift The Bridging the Rift Foundation (BTR)
was established to contribute to peace in the Middle
East. The Foundation's mission is to "build an
effective bridge between peoples in conflict areas by
demonstrating the benefits of peace in measurable
sustainable ways and collaborative programs involving
economic development, cutting-edge research and advanced
educational opportunities." BTR is working with
the governments of Israel and Jordan to build the
Bridging the Rift Center, a research facility that will
span the Israel/Jordan border, and will house the
world's first databank of information about all living
systems, the Library of Life. |
