CS 5643 Final Project Professor: Doug James Due date: TBA In this final project you will research and implement a topic on physically based animation (or closely related area). Groups: Work on your own, or in a group of two people. Effort: The project should involve effort comparable to (or greater than) earlier assignments.

This final project has the following components:

1. Project proposal (PDF format) [DUE: Monday April 5]:  To help you select and better define your project, you must submit a project proposal.  The proposal should be in the form of a 2-page paper, e.g., LaTeX'd in SIGGRAPH format, and include the following information:
• Abstract and introduction
• Related work and references
• Technical description of material
  
• What you propose to do, and expect to achieve
  
• What you would like to do (time permitting), but are not sure if you will complete.
• References (properly formatted)
  
2. Project presentation [DATE: TBD]:  We will organize project presentations at the end of the course to
   
3. Project submission [DATE: TBD]: In addition to submitting your software implementation, please also submit a final project report (PDF document;  no more than 8 pages in SIGGRAPH format). Your report should document your results and findings.
