Monetization
Microtransactions are one of the reasons why mobile games have a bad name. But as we see in this lecture, not all monetization needs to be bad.
More importantly, monetization is a decision that needs to be made at the very beginning. Reworking a game to include monetization, when it was designed without it, can be disastrous. The only thing you can add at the end of development is ads.
