NFTs and Games

NFTs are a bit of “the elephant in the room” right now. There is so much conversation about them that we cannot not talk about them. This lecture is an attempt at a clear and honest approach to the material.

With that said, a lot of this lecture is going to be negative, simply because current applications of NFTs are so bad (or worse, predatory). Furthermore, even in the best case scenario, this space will run into some of the ethical issues that we saw when online poker was popular. But if are really “in it for the tech” (and not just to get rich), we will see that there are a few potential applications for this technology.
