Discussion:What worked: Spherical warp, translation alignment, and blending all worked as intended with no problems. What didn't work: Homography alignment refused to work up until the day before the demo, courtesy of an un-normalized vector. Even after the alignment started working, the resulting blended image had weird stripe artifacts going through the blended areas, visually resembling 3D Z-fighting. The 360 degree panorama code also failed to function for unknown reasons. |
