I used my implementation of Image Scissor to cut out the stock imaages. As you can see, the masked versions of the images and the contours are below.
I used the masks generated by Image Scissor to cut out the stock images and give them a transparent background. Since the edges were somewhat rough, I used a gaussian blur on the mask to sofen them.
This is a screenshot a work in progress of the image and most of the layers I used to alter the cut-out images. I rotated, resized, duplicated stock images and overlayed effects and layer effects to complete my concept. I used a soft mask on the girl to make her fit into the teacup somewhat convincingly. I also used various photoshop color and luminosity filters to better blend the stock images together.
