he, him, hisRobbert van Renesse was the primary designer and implementer of the final version of the Amoeba distributed operating system and the EGOS educational operating system. He also was on the AT&T Bell Labs Plan 9 Operating System team.

I research on distributed systems and operating systems. Outside of academics, I snowboard and lead Kendo practice at Cornell's Kendo Club.
