      hyperref, translation between/among formats (PreScript),
DLS tools if possible, and SFX.

  2. Construct an overview of what current projects in reference
linking exist. (December 1 talk to Cornell Digital Library
      Group).

  3. Build collections at Cornell: ACM, selected NCSTRL collections,

      collections.

  5. Evaluation of the tools, definition of what is needed for a
flexible, parameterizable, citation agents and linking
      services.

  6. Build a Linking Service and figure out how to incorporate it
      into the Dienst model.

  7. Merge with Southampton reference linking tools

  8. Prepare a paper on what is learned so far, perhaps for EDCL.

C. 3 months (to September 30, 2000)

  1. Complete interlinking of available collections and build a web
      demo.

  2. Add reference information to NCSTRL retrieval results (a la CiteSeer)

Ongoing tasks throughout: keep project web page up to date. Communicate
with Southampton, comparing notes. Build/extend tools as needed.
