Application for Rising Sophomore Program

If you are interested in applying for the Explore Computer Science Program for Friday afternoon and Saturday, March 20-21, please enter the following information. Applications must be submitted by Monday, March 2.

Academic Performance - Fall 2019 (a minimum GPA of 2.5 cumulatively or within CS specific course work is expected).

Dietary restriction (needed for Friday dinner and Saturday lunch as part of the program)

Personal Statement (300 words or less)

Applicants who wish to be considered for the program must submit an essay (max 300 words) how the program would benefit them, and about their interest and experience with computer science research. Prior experience is not required.

An important goal of the program is to increase diversity in the computer science research community, you should also use the essay to address your contribution to this issue.

Finally, your transcript is required for review. An unofficial transcript is acceptable.
